New Captain of the WI - B.C Lara
Brian Charles Lara has been named the new captain of the WI cricket team for the upcoming Zim and India ODI and Test series. Lara replaces Shivanarine Chanderpaul, who stepped down from captaincy after a poor showing in New Zealand.
This will be the thrid stint as captain for the 36 year old Prince of Trinidad and Tobago. He had earlier stepped down from captaincy due to some poor showings.
